Module 3 explores discussing occupations. The dialogues cover expressing one’s job preferences and asking about someone else’s occupation. Class activities involve a game where students interview each other about the occupations of their fictional families to discover each student’s secret identity, as well as pair work in which students practise having conversations about occupations. Supplementary cultural material presents the top ten most desirable jobs in China today, and discussion questions about the differences between the most desirable jobs in China and those in Canada.
